The method
You were doing it in the wrong order.
Your heels didn't harden because they're dry. They hardened because they're under pressure — from standing, walking, and the shoes you wear every day. Softening the surface of a layer your body keeps rebuilding gets you nowhere.

Cosmetic personal care products for external use on the feet. Patch test the gel first and apply it only to hardened areas. Stop using either product if your skin becomes irritated. If you have diabetes, neuropathy, or poor circulation in your feet, speak with your doctor before using any callus removal device.
What you get
Why a file never finishes
Twenty minutes. And the hard part is still there.
A manual file only works on the surface. It takes off the top, catches, and stops — which is why most people give up before they reach the layer that actually matters. A rotating head works evenly and doesn't get tired, so the same job takes about two minutes a foot instead of an afternoon.
Why cream alone fails
You're moisturizing a wall.
It's a callus, and it's doing its job.Skin thickens where it's loaded. Cream softens the surface of something your body keeps rebuilding underneath — so you buy a better cream, and then another one. Take the hardened layer down first, then keep it soft. The order is the whole thing.
What it replaces
The hard skin is back before the polish chips.
If you get them done, you already know the number.A salon visit that includes callus work needs repeating every few weeks — that's not the salon doing a bad job, it's how skin works under pressure. This is the same job at home, on your own schedule, for the cost of a visit or two.
We haven't put a price on the salon column. They vary far too much by city for us to quote one honestly — you know what yours charges.
What you actually get
Most of these are the same machine. The box isn't.
Nearly every electric callus remover comes out of the same few factories. What changes is what's in the box, where it ships from, and what happens when you want your money back.
Compared against the specifications published by the best-selling electric callus removers sold direct to consumers in the US, September 2026. Where a rating isn't published by the seller, we've said so rather than guessed.
Questions people actually ask
How do I actually use it?
On dry feet — this works on dry skin, not wet. Apply the gel to the hardened areas only and wait five to ten minutes. Then take the layer down with the remover, moving steadily and without pressing; the rotating head does the work, pressing just heats the skin. About two minutes per foot, and stop there even if it isn't perfect. Rinse, then gel again.
How often?
Twice in the first week, then once every week or two. Daily doesn't speed anything up — your skin needs time between sessions, and taking too much off at once leaves the new skin tender.
Does it hurt?
No. It removes hardened, dead skin — the layer with no feeling in it. Use the low speed on the thinner skin near the edges, and stop if you feel anything sharp or warm. You're taking a layer down, not sanding through it.
Will the calluses come back?
If nothing else changes, yes. That isn't a flaw in the device — skin thickens in response to pressure, and you'll keep walking. What changes is that maintenance takes two minutes instead of an afternoon, and the gel in between slows it down.
Do the grinding heads wear out?
Yes, eventually — they're abrasive surfaces and they lose their bite with use. That's why three come in the box rather than one: coarse for the built-up layer, medium for rough skin, fine for upkeep. A worn head still spins, it just stops removing anything, so swap it when the same pass starts taking longer than it used to.
How fast does it ship?
From warehouses inside the United States. Most orders arrive in 2–5 business days and you'll get a tracking number as soon as it leaves. Free shipping over $45. US only for now.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Email us within 60 days and we'll refund you. You don't need to send it back unused and you don't pay return shipping — we expect you to try it. That's the entire point of a 60-day window.
Soften first. Then take it down.
