Solvea Scalp Massager — cordless 4-head scalp massager

The ritual

Work the oil in. Let the day out.

Oil sits on top of your hair unless something works it in. Four rotating heads knead it down to the scalp in about two minutes — and the same two minutes, dry, is the quietest part of most people's evening.

  • Five minutes, hands-free
  • Works wet or dry
  • Ships from the US, 4–6 days
  • 1-year warranty on the massager

Not a medical device. The massager and the oil are cosmetic personal-care products; neither treats hair loss or any condition. Stop using either if your scalp becomes irritated. Dry the massager's charging port before charging.

Why the oil never seemed to do much

You were oiling your hair, not your scalp.

Oil sits where you put it.Fingertips push it around the top of the hair and tire out before they've covered the crown, let alone the back of the head. Rotating heads knead the same few drops down to the skin, evenly, without you thinking about it. Same bottle, different place.

FingertipsUneven, tiring, and the oil mostly stays on the hair

The dry version

Five minutes with the lights off.

No oil, no shower — just the crown and the temples. Most people buy this for the oil and keep it for the evenings. Slow speed, eyes closed, the spot at the back of the head your hands never reach evenly. It's a massager; it doesn't claim to fix anything. It's just the easiest five minutes of the day to keep.

Two speeds. Slow for the evening, fast for the shower with shampoo. One button does both.

Why not the $25 one on Amazon?

Fair question. Here's the honest answer.

There are dozens of four-head scalp massagers and most come from the same few factories. What we picked is the one whose nodes don't catch hair — the single complaint that runs through every review page — and what we added is the oil, the warranty, and a US warehouse.

Questions people actually ask

How do I actually use it?

With oil: two or three drops on the crown, then the massager on slow for about two minutes, moving it slowly from the crown to the temples and the back of the head. No rinse needed. Without oil: same thing, dry, whenever. In the shower: fast speed with your shampoo, then rinse as usual.

Will it pull or tangle my hair?

The nodes are soft silicone and the heads are rounded, which is the difference from the ones that catch. With long hair, start on slow and keep the massager moving rather than parking it in one spot. If it ever snags, lift it straight up — don't pull sideways.

Can I use it in the shower?

Yes. The body is water-safe. Dry the charging port before you charge it, and don't leave it sitting in water.

Does it make hair grow?

We don't claim that, and we'd be suspicious of anyone who does. It's a massager: it works oil into the scalp and it feels good. If you're dealing with hair loss, that's a conversation for a doctor, not a product page.

What's in the oil?

Difeel Rosemary Mint Hair Oil Blend, 8 oz — rosemary and peppermint oils with biotin, made in the USA. Lightweight, non-greasy. A bottle lasts about 6–8 weeks with daily use; you can reorder it on its own.

How long does the battery last?

About two hours of use per charge — at five minutes a day that's a few weeks. It charges over USB; any phone charger works.

How fast does it ship?

From warehouses inside the United States. Most orders arrive in 4–6 business days and you'll get a tracking number as soon as it leaves. Free shipping over $45. US only for now.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Email us within 30 days and we'll refund you. If the massager stops working within a year, we send a new one — you don't ship the old one back.
